The mission of the Faculty of Medicine andHealth Sciences, Aden University is to graduate medical and health staff to be professionallyand ethically qualified according to the Islamic, Arabic and Internationalstandards, capable of life-long learning and training, andacquire the skills of communication and scientific research to meet the healthneeds of the society.
أهداف كلية الطب والعلوم الصحية:
• تأهيل الخريجين الأطباء علمياً ومهنياً وأخلاقياً بما يمكنهم من تقديم الرعاية الصحية والطبية للأفراد و الأسر و المجتمع على أسس علمية سليمة وبما يتفق مع القيم الأخلاقية و الاجتماعية و الإنسانية النبيلة.
• تأهيل الاختصاصيين في مجالات الطب المختلفة من خلال برامج للدراسات العليا حسب احتياجات المجتمع وتطويرالخدمات الطبية و الصحية.
• إجراء الدراسات و البحوث العلمية لتحديد وتشخيص المشكلات الصحية الرئيسية في المجتمع، واقتراح الحلول العلمية المناسبة لها ومواكبة التطور في العلوم الطبية.
• تنظيم برامج التعليم المستمر في كافة الجوانب بما يعزز المقدرات العلمية والمهنية المستمرة للدارسين و أعضاء هيئة التدريس و الأطباء.
• مشاركة كلية الطب مع وزارة الصحة العامة والسكان والجهات ذات العلاقة في بناء وتطوير النظام الصحي الوطني على أسس علمية سليمة.
• تطوير علاقات تعاون علمي وبحثي مع كليات الطب البشري و الصيدلة و الأسنان والمراكز البحثية في الطب والصحة والصيدلة على المستوى الوطني والإقليمي والدولي.
Goals:
Facultyof Medicine and Health Sciences aims to:
� Graduate physicians who are scientifically, professionally and ethically capable of providing
health and medical care services to individuals, families and society based on sound science
and humanitarian and moral values.
� Educate specialists in various fields of medicine through graduate programs according to the
needs of society and the development of medical and health care services.
� Conduct studies and scientific research to identify and diagnose the major health problems
in the community, propose appropriate scientific solutions and keep abreast of developments
in medical science.
� Organize continuous professional development trainingprograms to update the scientific and professional capabilities of the trainees,faculty members and medical and health staff.
� Participate actively with the Ministry of Public Healthand Population and other stakeholders in establishing and developing theNational Health System on scientific bases.
� Develop scientificand research collaboration with national, regional and international faculties of medicine, pharmacy and dentistry and other medical and health researchcenters at the national, regional, and international levels.
